Provide services that educate, empower, and support life affirming choices.

  1. We believe the Holy Bible, to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

  2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works.

  5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works.

  6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

  7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Next Step CHOICES was launched into the Clarion County schools in 2011. Programs offered by Next Step CHOICES for the public or private school settings are:

Sexual Risk Avoidance Programing

All programs are tailored for each age-specific classroom setting. The focus for each grade level is as follows.

Grade 6: Decision making and goals, friendships, the risks of being sexually active, sexual abuse, and setting boundaries.

Junior High: Decisions and choices, boundaries, sexual risk avoidance, healthy relationships.

Senior High: Sexual risk avoidance, dating abuse, healthy relationships.

We offer a 1-day to a 5-day program and will work with the school on the number of days wanted and subjects needed for their specific classroom.

Next Step CHOICES also works with the

community and church settings.

Programs available to these organizations are:

Sexual Integrity and Purity: This outline is great for students of all ages. It teaches them the importance of remaining pure until their wedding night, the benefits of waiting, and the principles God wants us to live by.

Pampering a Princess: This program is designed for girls primarily in 6th grade. It is a story on why waiting for your "Prince" is so important and we also involve a lesson on self-image. At this time, we also incorporate women in your church to help us pamper these girls by painting their nails, fixing their hair and providing a snack. It is a great way to show these girls that they are special.

Modesty: This principle is important for both males and females. We want to be looked at for our character, not our clothing. This lesson also incorporates the topic of self-esteem.

Dangers of the Media: Why do we tend to live our lives as the world say we should an not how God says we should? Today's social media has such an influence on all aspects of our children's lives. We need to remind them to "be in the world, but not of the world."

Parental Guideline: We also offer a parental guideline on teenage sexual integrity and other topics offered by the ACE Program.

Our History

In 1987, a handful of concerned citizens formed a group called Clarion County Life to provide the community options and alternatives to abortion. Roots were put down on 611 Main Street, registered as a non-profit 501(c)3 operating as AAA Pregnancy Center (and for those of you wondering, the 3A’s stood for Agency for Alternatives to Abortion). At this time providing self-administered pregnancy test was a valuable tool. Along with information about fetal development, abortion, parenting, and adoption, material assistance was added to these services.

Since 1988 AAA Life Services has been replanted three times, first to the old Clarion Hospital on 7th Avenue, then a move to 721 Wood Street, before finally landing on the chance to purchase property on 140 Greenville Avenue getting us that much closer to Clarion University. With each move, there was more growth, and growth requires change. In 2004 the organization changed its name to AAA Life Services because there was a need to more clearly convey to our community that our organization values the individual person; pre-born, children, moms, dads, and family.

Growth also requires pruning back. God would at times prune back staff to a minimum or weed out resources no longer needed. He would trim the finances or the flow of clients. It has been during the times of rest at AAA that the nutrients are being replenished, this then allows new life to spring forth. Such as the Abstinence and Character Education Program (ACE Program) that began in 2001 and has absolutely flourished.

Then there are times when you sow the seed and you wait...and you wait....and you wait. Our Campus Outreach Coordinator was just that. Seeking, searching and....(yep) waiting. New contacts were developed at the university through the hire of this position in 2014. However, this position being in our great Gardener's hands, in 2017 was suspended with the departure of
that individual.

We now currently are in pursuit of adding medical services with ultrasound. With the expectation of the Lord growing the ministry in His time, one change that has been made at the onset was a re-branding with the Doing Business As name of Next Step Pregnancy Solutions and Services. We continue to raise funds for the startup costs, including direct efforts toward the
ultrasound machine. Support raising also includes, but not limited to, our building addition for exam rooms and construction now complete, searching for equipment/furniture, i.e. exam table and supplies. The job description and application process are underway to identify our Nurse Manager and get her properly trained. Connections and conversations are taking place to find the Medical Director who displays a pro-life vision and mission-mindedness for the call to serve at Next Step Pregnancy Solutions & Services.
